Hallmarking

By law, silver over the weight of 7.78 grams and gold over the weight of 1 gram must be hallmarked by an independent assay office. We are very proud to have our work hallmarked in our home city of Edinburgh. 

As the majority of Ellen Catherine Jewellery is under the 7.78 grams, it does not contain a hallmark due to the added costs. If you'd like a hallmark for small items, please email catherine@ellencatherine.co.uk.
