Terms & Conditions

Payment:

All payments are made through Stripe or iZettle and can be made using all major debit and credit cards.
For tailor made pieces, we ask for a 50% non refundable deposit before work begins. The remaining invoice is requested before collection of the piece. Payment for commissions can be done by a bank transfer. If you would rather pay by another method, such as personal cheque (UK only), please confirm this by Catherine first.
 

Delivery & Postage: 

Orders under £50 have the option of being sent Royal Mail First Class at £5 or Special Delivery charged at £7.50.

Orders over £50 are sent using the Royal Mail Special Delivery which is an insured next day service requiring a signature on arrival. We do not charge for delivery for orders over £50.

Please note: all contact information and delivery information must be submitted accurately and in full to guarantee that the order is dispatched to the correct address.

The postage cost for any international order is £10.

 Gift Vouchers:

The gift voucher is only valid for 1 year from date of purchase.

The gift voucher can be spent at the Ellen Catherine Jewellery online shop or used for bespoke orders if agreed by Ellen Catherine in advance. If you have received a gift voucher and want to use it for a bespoke order, please contact us.

Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift Voucher can only be used once.
Order Times:
Orders from the website will be dispatched within a 2 week period. Delivery may be after that period.
For tailor made pieces, an order time will be agreed upon at the consultation. 

 

Order Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of our business, orders must be cancelled or amended within 24 hours if you no longer wish to proceed with your purchase. Any deposit paid will be non refundable.

Refunds and Exchanges

Making jewellery is incredibly personal for us so we hope you will be delighted with your Ellen Catherine. However, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we would be happy to adjust or exchange your item.

Please contact us with 14 days with your issue and we will endeavour to fix a solution. 

Orders must be returned in their original packaging with a clear description of the issue. 

Exchanges are offered at our sole discretion.

Items are returned at the buyer's own risk. It is recommended that you use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service to insure it against loss or damage. Postage will be refunded only if the item is faulty or if any error is made on our part of the order.

Repairs:

Please email us with the details of the issue and we can proceed from then. If the repair is needed due to negligent handling, a repair quote will be sent once the piece has been received. It is our sole discretion as to what constitutes negligent handling.

Privacy Policy

It is our policy to ensure you have a secure visit to this website. Your security is of great importance to us and your information will never be passed to any third party.

Financial information is used only to charge you for the items you are purchasing.

Payments are made using the secure transaction services of iZettle or Stripe. Since these services are completely independent of us, your credit card details are not divulged to us at any time.
